WPS Series

Large Through-Bore Self-Centering Welding Chucks

The WPS Series combines features of lightweight welding chucks and machine-tool chucks.

A bevel-gear and scroll mechanism drives the jaws simultaneously in the radial direction, providing automatic workpiece centering.

The design offers high clamping force while reducing overall chuck thickness and weight. According to the manufacturer’s design description, the reduced profile helps lower the workpiece center distance when installed on welding equipment.
