Compact 30kg Welding Positioner | Bench-Mounted Rotary Table

Compact Tilt & Rotate Welding Positioner for Pipes, Flanges & Small Fabricated Parts

The MecBase BWJ-30 Welding Positioner is a compact bench-mounted rotary welding table designed for controlled positioning and rotation of small workpieces during welding.

With a 30 kg horizontal load capacity, Ø310 mm rotary table, 0–90° manual tilt and variable-speed rotation, the BWJ-30 provides a practical solution for small pipe, flange, fitting and component welding.

A center through-hole allows suitable long workpieces to pass through the table, while optional 125 mm, 200 mm and 300 mm welding chucks provide flexible workpiece clamping.

Available in both standard variable-speed and PLC-controlled configurations, the BWJ-30 can be used for manual welding or integrated into a compact semi-automatic welding workstation.

  • 30 KG HORIZONTAL LOAD
  • 15 KG VERTICAL LOAD
  • Ø310 MM ROTARY TABLE
  • 0–90° TILT
  • VARIABLE-SPEED ROTATION

Compact Welding Positioner for Small Workpieces

The BWJ-30 combines workpiece rotation, angular positioning and optional chuck clamping in one compact machine.

Instead of repeatedly stopping and manually repositioning a pipe or flange, the operator can secure the workpiece to the positioner and rotate it at a controlled speed during welding.

The table can also be manually tilted from 0° to 90°, helping place the weld joint in a more accessible working position.

For applications requiring more automation, the BWJ-30PLC version adds programmable rotation speed and angle control, pneumatic torch-holder control and parameter memory.

Key Features

30kg Compact Load Capacity

  • The BWJ-30 is designed for small and medium-size workpieces that do not require a large industrial welding positioner.
  • The rated load depends on table orientation:
  • Horizontal Load: 30 kg
  • Vertical Load: 15 kg
  • This distinction is important when selecting a welding positioner because tilting the workpiece changes the load and moment acting on the rotary mechanism.

Ø310 mm Rotary Worktable

  • Stable Mounting Surface with Center Through-Hole
  • The BWJ-30 features a Ø310 mm rotary worktable, providing a mounting surface for the workpiece, fixture or compatible welding chuck.
  • A center through-hole is available in: Ø25 mm or Ø65 mm depending on configuration.
  • The through-hole design is particularly useful when working with suitable pipes, shafts and other elongated components that need to extend through the center of the positioner.

Variable-Speed Rotation

  • Match Table Speed to Your Welding Application
  • The standard BWJ-30 uses a 60W DC motor with stepless speed regulation.
  • Available rotation ranges listed by the source include: 1–15 rpm or 0.5–7 rpm
  • The PLC version provides: 0.1–10 rpm
  • This allows the rotation speed to be selected according to the workpiece diameter and welding requirements.

0–90° Tilting Worktable

  • Position the Weld Joint at a More Convenient Angle
  • The rotary table can be manually tilted from: 0° to 90°
  • The original design uses a worm-gear tilting mechanism with a manual handle, allowing the operator to adjust the table angle according to the workpiece and welding position.
  • This combination of rotation + tilt makes the BWJ-30 more versatile than a simple horizontal welding turntable.
